About the Owner
Welcome! My name is Rhianna & I have been the owner of Sopris Salon since 2021 . As a Roaring Fork Valley native that has seen many changes over the years I still find the most amazing changes are the sunrise and sunsets on Sopris Mountain. To this day, they never fail to take my breath away!
I had the dream since I was a little girl about joining the cosmetology world. 15 years ago, I was blessed to accomplish that dream & start this beautiful journey into cosmetology. I started my journey for the first 13 years in Aspen…where I was able to watch the sunrise over Sopris Mountain 5 days a week, while helping to add my own touch of beauty to the day. From the Remede Spa at the St Regis hotel in Aspen, I received one on one training from the Forbes Magazine 5 star training team, which focused on the importance of strong customer service and engagement with clients, to provide a one of a kind experience for clients. A
fter the St Regis, I joined the outstanding team at Salon Tullio, the team at Salon Tullio quickly became my second family. I was introduced to the medi spa world of laser and injectibles while starting at the Aspen Vida Medi Spa. I have been able to add skin & nails to my portfolio with Laser Skin Resurfacing, Laser Hair Removal & Neurotoxin injectables certification from Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy.
In 2019, it was time to take the biggest leap of faith and start my own business. While looking for something closer to home I found my new home in March of 2021. Of course the majestic mountain that was so amazing to me, had to come to fruition, & Sopris Salon was born. The past years at Sopris Salon have brought so many opportunities to build an amazing new mid valley clientele, while continuing to keep all strong relationships with prior clients. I look forward to providing my amazing services to all new and existing clients. I believe in empowering others & am so thankful for all of the love and support from the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. I look forward to helping you show off how amazing you are! Beauty Guru - Rhianna
I have been in the industry for nearly 20 years, specializing in Manicures and Pedicures and Facials and Laser Hair Removal. I've always had a desire to fulfill a passion for beauty so this industry was exactly what I was looking for. When I am not in the salon I enjoy reading, and spending time with my family and our awesome dog June outdoors. My favorite products to use are Olaplex and Epicuren Skin Care and of course our signature cashmere cucumber scrub.
Colorist and Stylist - Chawntee
I have been in the industry for 35 years, a majority of my career was at the Regis Corporation. I love making people feel good about themselves and being a listening ear for my clients. I specialize in color, my favorite being highlights. If I am not at the salon you can find me spending time with my husband and our dogs, or with my wonderful children and grandchildren. My favorite products are Biolage and the complete line of Olaplex.
